CONVERSATIONS WITH NICKLE

 

I shot this film over a nine year period to document my friend Nickle Lauritzen's journey in finding a cure for ALS.  Winner Best Feature Documentary at the Sedona International Film Festival, in competition at several film festivals including RiverRun and Woodstock. Finished while I was an Artist-In-Residence at the Los Angeles Film School. Edited by Bryan Pitcher with the guidance of Donn Cambern, ACE. Acquired by HBO in 2001.
